Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital and Jennie Edmundson Foundation are teaming up once again for the annual Spirit of Courage event, a benefit to help MJE cancer patients in need of financial assistance.
Methodist is a corporate sponsor of Omaha's Head for the Cure, a 5K Run/Walk at Lewis & Clark Landing on July 29. Proceeds will help benefit Leap-for-a-Cure, a grass-roots effort to improve awareness, education, and treatment of brain cancer in the Omaha community and especially at Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center.
Methodist is sponsoring and participating in the 2017 Relay for Life of Greater Omaha on Saturday, July 15, at Stinson Park at Aksarben Village, 2285 S. 67th Street. Methodist team registration deadline: June 22.
The Methodist Jennie Edmundson Relay for Life team will sell luminaria bags for display at the Pottawattamie County Relay for Life in Treynor on June 3 to remember those who have passed and to honor those who are fighting or have fought cancer. The luminaria sale is in the MJE cafeteria hallway Wednesday-Thursday, May 24 and 25, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Mobile Mammography Fundraiser - Donations Doubled at Younkers Fashion Show & Shopping Event: March 30
The "New & Now" shopping event and spring fashion show at Younkers Westroads on the evening of Thursday, March 30, will benefit Methodist Mobile Mammography. Every gift made during this event will be doubled by a local donor — so a $10 gift will automatically become $20.
