Methodist Women's Hospital's Sue Korth Repeats as a Member of Becker's Top 130 Women Leaders

Becker's Hospital Review has published its list of "130 Women hospital and health system leaders to know | 2017" and Sue Korth, vice president and chief operating officer (COO)  for Methodist Women's Hospital, was among those recognized for the second straight year.

The others honored included leaders from Johns Hopkins Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, Yale-New Haven Health System,  Baylor Scott & White Health, Presence Health and New York-Presbyterian to name a few. Korth is one of three Nebraskans to make the list. 

Korth has over 30 years of clinical and medical management experience, including five years as a clinical supervisor in high-risk OB/GYN at Methodist Hospital. Prior to joining Methodist, Korth worked in quality improvement for Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. She has previously worked within every health system in Omaha, and for Mutual of Omaha.

Korth earned her bachelor’s degree in health administration from the College of St. Francis and her bachelor’s in nursing from the College of St. Mary. She also has a master’s degree in public health administration from the University of Minnesota and a doctorate in health care administration from Pacific Western University.
