Methodist Health System is the area’s only member of the Spirit of Women Hospital Network, an elite coalition of hospitals and health care providers dedicated to excellence in women’s health, education and community outreach. Our partnership with Spirit of Women includes all of the hospitals and clinics of Methodist Health System.    Spirit of Women

A Vibrant, Fun Approach to Women’s Health
Membership in this nationally acclaimed organization is part of our fresh, vibrant approach to women’s health services. Spirit of Women focuses on creating educational events that entertain and engage women. Signature events include:

  • Spirit Girls Night Out
    An October multigenerational event targeting breast cancer and other leading women’s health issues. For more information, visit www.bestcare.org/paris
  • Day of Dance

  • Spirit of Nursing
    A May event to honor, celebrate, and thank all community nurses for all they accomplish daily.

National Standards of Excellence

Spirit of Women health systems aspire to a set of National Standards of Excellence in Women’s Health. These standards are developed in educational cooperation with the Office of Women’s Health and the Department of Health and Human Services.
