Life can be a bumpy road at times, from the excitement of a new relationship or the birth of a child to the sadness that comes with the death of a loved one. It's all part of being human.

The psychologists and licensed mental health practitioners (LMHP) of Methodist Health System can help patients get through the rough times.

Counseling is available in the following areas:

  • Anxiety
  • Caregiver Stress
  • Chronic Pain or Illness
  • Depression
  • Eating Disorders
  • Family and Parenting Issues
  • Grief and Loss
  • Marital or Relationship Issues
  • Sleep Disorders
  • Stress Management
  • Substance Use Disorders
  • Trauma

In addition to counseling the behavioral health specialists can provide psychological evaluation, assessment, testing and treatment. If a medication is needed to help patients deal with their life issue, referrals to a psychiatrist are available.
