At the Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center Library, consumers will find access to a broad spectrum of current cancer and health-related information and resources.

Information is available on many topics including disease and treatment information, medications, medical tests, nutrition and holistic health, as well as other health issues.

Information for consumers includes:

• Personal stories
• Reference books
• CDs, video and audio tapes
• Health magazines and newsletters
• Patient education materials
• Popular health guides
• Pamphlets and brochures
• Web resources

Individuals may borrow audio tapes, CDs, books, magazines and video tapes from the collection. Photocopy service is available, in accordance with copyright laws, for reference materials that remain in the library.

Internet access is provided so consumers can search for additional resources. Library staff will provide assistance in locating reputable resources and evaluating Web sites.
