The Family Resource Center is a free service for the community, established in 1996, through a grant which continues to be funded by the Jennie Edmundson Foundation.

Health Information for Our Patients and Their Families

One of the most comprehensive facilities of its kind in the Midwest, Jennie Edmundson Family Resource Center provides free, current, easy-to-understand consumer health information to the public, through a lending library of books and videos, online computer searches, customized health information packets and community outreach.

Resource Center Topics

Family Resource Center nurses will research any health or wellness topic and mail the information to you free of charge.

The Family Resource Center also provides Memory Bags for grieving children or adolescents who have lost a loved one. To receive a free memory bag, call

Shaken Baby Task Force

The Jennie Edmundson Family Resource Center provides free educational materials on the prevention of shaken baby syndrome. The Shaken Baby Task Force works to increase public awareness of the dangers of shaken baby syndrome.
