Methodist Hospital Food Service

As a patient of Jennie Edmundson Hospital, you have our commitment to meet your individual nutrition needs. We understand you, and your visitors, may not desire or be able to adhere to a schedule. We are pleased to offer you several unique options for food service.

Room Service

While staying at Methodist Hospital, patients enjoy cooked-to-order meals and snacks when they want them. Your room has a menu with choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. We happily take your request for your meal from 6:30a.m. – 8p.m. We will deliver your meal to your room within 45 minutes. To help you in your selection, your menu provides indications for foods which are allowed for any restricted diet. Call Room Service at extension 4900, or (402) 354-4900.  

Guest Meals
We are happy to see the support of family and friends for a hospitalized patient. We offer guest room-service meals for $5. Your guests can place their orders to be delivered with your meal.

Cafeteria

Our Cafeteria serves food 24 hours a day and is located on the second floor. Hot entrees are served:

Breakfast: 6:30–10 a.m.
Lunch: 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Dinner: 4–7 p.m.

Cyber Joe's

A specialty coffee/ Wi-Fi lounge available in the main lobby area, across from the Gift Shop, Cyber Joe's offers vending machines and wireless Internet 24 hours a day. Computers are available for patients and their families. In addition, Crane Coffee sells beverages and pastries Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Vending Machines

Vending machines offering snacks and beverages are located outside the Emergency Department and at Cyber Joe’s across from the Gift Shop on the First Floor.
